Job Description

The team touches virtually every part of the business through audits and reviews, creating an exceptional development experience for someone new to our industry and company. The Internal Auditor is involved in audit work that includes testing of financial controlsfor compliance with Sarbanes -Oxley Section 404 and performing risk based financial and operational audits and business consulting reviews. You can expect the following activities as an
Internal Auditor:
Audit planning, including scope and audit program review/definition Interviews to understand businessprocesses Documenting process with flowcharts and narratives Evaluation and testing of process controls Recommending improved controls Using data analytics to make testing samples more efficient Reporting audit results to management Documenting workpapers in compliance with IIA Professional Standards for Internal Auditing SOX control testing Conducting audit close meetingsDoes this look like you? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fieldREQUIRED
Advanced degreePREFERRED
CPA orCIA PREFERRED 1
year of previous accounting, financial, audit, or business analysisexperience or equivalent combinationof education, training, and experience General knowledge of the COSO framework Well-developed communication skills -- both oral and written Detail orientation -- ability to dig into individual transactions and keep going! Advanced skills in Google applications or Microsoft Office equivalents, especially spreadsheets Experience in analytical software tools (e.g. IDEA) is a plus Gordon Food Service is an equal opportunity employer.
