Maplewood, MO Overview One of the nation's larger middle-market professional services firms is seeking an Audit Manager in the St. Louis area to oversee planning, execution and completion of audit engagements, maintain high quality standards and foster team growth. Responsibilities Lead audit teams of seniors and staff through planning, execution and conclusion, adhering to timelines, budgets and standards Serve as primary client contact and provide insights to improve financial processes, controls and reporting Develop audit strategies and plans with partners and directors and oversee audit programs and resource allocation Review workpapers and findings to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and disclosures Provide expert guidance on complex accounting and auditing issues Coach, mentor and evaluate audit staff and seniors Contribute to business development, proposals and networking Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 5-8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of audit experience within a CPA firm CPA license required Travel may be frequent depending on client needs If you are interested in connecting further about this opportunity or other public accounting opportunities, please apply here or email me directly at austin.eppard@gogpac.com or call/text (605) 872-5131.
