Work Shifts 9:00 A.M - 5:00 P.M Duties & Responsibilities The Executive Compliance and Audit Manager ("ECAM"), reports directly to the Chief Corporate Compliance Officer ("CCO") within the Office of Corporate Compliance ("OCC") and assists the CCO with the oversight of compliance and audit activities, functions, and initiatives related to internal and external audits, including but not limited to billing and coding audits, claims reimbursement audits, and pre-payment audits, as well as overpayment self-disclosures. General tasks and responsibilities will include: Overseeing and managing internal and external audits, including managing the audit projects and overseeing internal auditors and consultants, and monitoring their progress; Track progression and all due dates of external audits and self-disclosures; Communicating audit progress and results to the CCO; Working with Revenue Cycle to develop and implement any corrective action plans necessary to address external audit and internal or consultant review results; Working with Revenue Cycle to develop training and educational materials based on external audits and internal or consultant review outcomes; Overseeing audits by oversight agencies, and preparing responses to oversight agency inquiries and Draft Audit Reports, including Medicaid Draft Audit Reports; Drafting and submitting Medicaid self-disclosure reports and Medicare Voluntary Refunds of any potential overpayments; Preparing and submitting Managed Care Plans' Compliance Attestations; and Assisting the OCC in developing annual Risk Assessments. Minimum Qualifications 1. A Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from an accredited School of Law, admission to the New York State Bar and three (3) years of experience in the practice of law in the field of health care compliance subsequent to admission to the Bar; or 2. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Health Care, Hospital, Public, or Business Administration, or another approved related field, and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in auditing, legal, risk management, or compliance in a large healthcare setting; or 3. A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Health Care, Hospital or Public Administration, or another approved related field, and five (5) years of experience, as described in "2" above. Department Preferences Three to five years' experience in the areas of hospital coding, billing, and/or auditing oversight. Commuter Benefits Programs Pay:
