Job Description

Position Overview:
The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading and performing audit engagements for clients in the public accounting industry. They will work closely with audit teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting regulations and standards. This role requires strong knowledge of public accounting practices and procedures, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and perform audit engagements from planning to completion for clients in the public accounting industryReview and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations and standardsCommunicate with clients to obtain necessary information and address any issues or concernsSupervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as neededIdentify and communicate any audit findings or recommendations to management and clientsStay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, as well as industry trends and best practicesAssist in the development and implementation of new audit policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and GAASExperience with Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) audits a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and strong analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and accounting softwareAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
