Job Description

Job Summary Seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and detail-oriented Public Accounting Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial statements across diverse client portfolios. Your expertise will help organizations meet regulatory standards, optimize financial processes, and strengthen risk management practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical accounting skills and contribute to high-quality audits that uphold the highest standards of professionalism and precision. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and other regulatory requirements. Review and analyze accounting records, general ledger entries, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP, laws and regulations. Utilize accounting software and financial analysis tools to streamline audit processes and enhance data accuracy. Prepare and analyze financial statements and related disclosures. Perform account reconciliations, analytical procedures, and substantive testing. Prepare workpapers and engagement documentation with accuracy and completeness. Conduct review and compilation engagements. Assist in drafting management letters and communicating findings to clients. Collaborate with engagement teams to meet project deadlines and client expectations. Research accounting and auditing issues and apply relevant standards. Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and service. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred. Proven experience in public accounting or auditing roles with a strong understanding of GAAS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting standards. Familiarity with technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, or complex financial transactions. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. Proficiency in accounting software packages and financial management tools used for general ledger accounting and financial analysis. Excellent communication skills for preparing clear reports and collaborating effectively with clients and team members.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
