Line Auditor/Parts Inspector | $22-25 | Monday

•Thursday 6:00am

Location:

A Line Auditor / Final Parts Inspector is responsible for inspecting finished screws and fasteners to ensure they meet required quality standards and customer specifications before shipment. This position performs visual and dimensional inspections, identifies defects, verifies measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and documents inspection results. The inspector works closely with production to address quality concerns and helps ensure only approved, defect-free parts are released to customers.

Responsibilities:

Use micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and microscopes to verify the dimensions and structural integrity of miniature and nano-sized parts. Will be monitoring quality of product during manufacturing process and completion of manufacturing. Handle miniature parts using tweezers and hand tools to inspect for scratches, burrs, or deviations from blueprints and quality standards Record inspection results, track defect percentages, and properly label items for acceptance or rejection Follow standard operating procedures to quarantine non-conforming products and report issues to production supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be proficient with all types of measuring tools, micrometers, dial indicators, etc. Must be able to read part prints. Individual will be assigned to manufacturing cell doing 100% inspection on machined parts. Position requires individual to be attentive and to stay at workstation. Position will require long periods of sitting while inspecting parts. Must have good attention to detail Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
