Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Compliance Consultant with a background in Skilled Nursing Facility administration to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure our community adheres to all Oregon and Federal regulatory standards and industry best practices. Your expertise will help maintain the highest levels of compliance with healthcare regulations, including OARs, Medicare, FDA regulations, and JCAHO standards. You will play a key role in safeguarding our residents' well-being while supporting our commitment to excellence in community-based care.
Shift:
Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay:
Starting at 55k/year. Open to negotiation. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs tailored to long-term care operations. Conduct regular audits of clinical and operational processes to ensure adherence to HIPAA, OARs, and other regulatory requirements. Provide training and education to staff on compliance policies, including Medicare regulations and OAR guidelines. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring billing practices. Stay current with changes in healthcare laws and regulations, as well as JCAHO standards and state-specific requirements. Collaborate with leadership to address compliance issues promptly and effectively. Maintain detailed records of audits, training sessions, and compliance activities for reporting purposes. Strong knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules, Medicare regulations, and OARs. Familiarity with compliance auditing tools and documentation processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for reviewing clinical documentation and billing practices. Current administrative License required. RN/LPN license highly preferred
