Position Type:
Temporary/Contract Key Responsibilities Perform evaluations and testing of internal controls Assist with financial, operational, and compliance audits Perform audit procedures in accordance with established internal audit plans and standards Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and control testing Identify potential control weaknesses, process gaps, and areas for improvement Prepare clear, detailed, and well-organized audit workpapers Document testing procedures, findings, and supporting evidence Draft audit findings and communicate results to Internal Audit leadership Collaborate with various departments and business stakeholders throughout the audit process Assist with additional audit and compliance initiatives as needed Travel to plant and terminal locations throughout the U.S. as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field required 1+ years of experience in public accounting and/or internal audit Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal controls Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prepare clear and comprehensive audit documentation Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities Comfortable interacting with employees and stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization Manufacturing or industrial industry experience is a plus

$76,327.42 - $80,000.00 per year
