Job Overview Join our team as a Home Energy Auditor/Assessor and become a vital part of the effort to improve energy efficiency and sustainability in residential settings. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of homes to identify opportunities for energy savings, comfort improvements, and environmental impact reduction. Your expertise will help homeowners understand their energy consumption patterns and implement practical solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical skills with community engagement, making a tangible difference in people's lives while promoting sustainable practices. Responsibilities Perform detailed home energy audits using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to evaluate insulation, air leakage, HVAC systems, lighting, and appliances. Identify areas where energy efficiency can be improved and recommend tailored solutions to homeowners. Collect and analyze data related to comfort, indoor air quality, energy use, HVAC systems, etc. within the home environment. Educate homeowners on best practices for energy-saving techniques and opportunities to create a safer and more efficient environment. Document audit findings thoroughly, prepare clear reports, and provide actionable recommendations for energy upgrades. Collaborate with the operations team for follow-up improvements. Experience Prior experience or knowledge in window, HVAC or solar systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction principles enhances the ability to accurately assess home infrastructure. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining technical findings clearly to homeowners and team members. Ability to work independently in varied environments while adhering to safety protocols is crucial for success in this role. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
