About the Role We're seeking an Audit Manager to lead complex audit engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and mentor to the firm's growing audit team. Key Responsibilities Manage audit engagements from planning through issuance while ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Serve as the primary relationship manager for clients, providing proactive communication and trusted advisory support. Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports prepared by senior and staff auditors. Mentor, develop, and coach audit professionals through technical guidance and performance feedback. Collaborate with partners on engagement strategy, risk assessment, staffing, and client service initiatives. Identify process improvements and leverage technology to enhance engagement efficiency. Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional client service. Support business development efforts by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 5+ years of recent public accounting audit experience. Active CPA license required. Previous experience managing audit engagements and leading client relationships. Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodology. Experience with governmental and nonprofit audits is strongly preferred; agribusiness experience is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
