This Audit Manager role sits in a 20 to 25-person Indianapolis firm that works closely with privately owned businesses across manufacturing and construction. Most clients are family-owned or closely held, typically in the 20-75 million revenue range, with some larger groups alongside that. Managers here stay close to both clients and leadership. It's a collaborative environment where you're expected to help lead engagements, support staff development, and play a visible role in shaping how the assurance team grows over the next few years. They're also intentional about looking after their people. One example is their Dream Manager programme, which sets aside funding each year toward something meaningful outside work. Recent choices have included trips to the Ryder Cup in Rome and hiking the Inca Trail. It's designed to make sure time away from work actually happens. Hybrid works well, though they are looking for someone who enjoys being in the office and building relationships with the team day to day. They're looking for a CPA Audit Manager who already operates at manager level within assurance and wants a role that combines client relationships, team leadership, and a clear long term route toward partnership.
