Applicants with professional experience may be considered for a higher-level position.

Job duties include:

Determining compliance with applicable laws, established policies, plans, and procedures, including State laws, Florida Administrative Code, Federal rules and regulations, and entity-specific policies and procedures. Determining compliance with GAAP, GAGAS, and other accounting or auditing-related authoritative sources. Compiling statistical data. Performing basic and complex data analysis. Working with a team of auditors. Communicating with team members and auditees. Other duties as required. We operate within a hybrid work environment; staff may work from home during some of their work week. This is not a remote position. The Auditor General offers a competitive benefits package.
