Applicants with professional experience may be considered for a higher-level position.
Job duties include:
Determining compliance with applicable laws, established policies, plans, and procedures, including State laws, Florida Administrative Code, Federal rules and regulations, and entity-specific policies and procedures. Determining compliance with GAAP, GAGAS, and other accounting or auditing-related authoritative sources. Compiling statistical data. Performing basic and complex data analysis. Working with a team of auditors. Communicating with team members and auditees. Other duties as required. We operate within a hybrid work environment; staff may work from home during some of their work week. The Auditor General offers a competitive benefits package.Job Type:

(i.e., 150 semester hours, including 30 hours of upper division accounting classes and 36 hours of upper division general business classes with some limited exceptions for lower division classes)? Meeting these educational requirements may involve, for example, completing a master's degree in accounting, a bachelor's degree in accounting and another business-related degree, or a bachelor's degree in accounting and additional relevant accounting and general business coursework.Education:
