Auditor Remote Senior Auditor In-charge serving Oklahoma Our company is a public accounting firm focused on serving not-for-profit organizations and small government entities. We help clients maintain accurate, transparent, and compliant financial records so they can carry out their missions and public responsibilities with confidence. Our team is committed to precision in every engagement and works closely with each client to provide practical, tailored recommendations. Our staff includes Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and experienced auditors with strong expertise in the not-for-profit and government sectors. Job Summary As an Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our clients' financial records and accounts. Working closely with our team of professionals, you will conduct thorough audits, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations to improve our clients' financial practices and reporting.

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  •  3-5 years of experience in auditing or financial analysis
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required or on track for eligibility
  • Proficient in financial software, data analysis tools, and spreadsheet applications
  • This role requires a personality that can work independently with some instruction Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive audits of financial records, transactions, and accounts
  • Analyze financial data and documents to identify discrepancies, errors, or areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial processes and provide guidance for enhancing internal controls
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations
  • Assist with the implementation of corrective measures and process improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant financial regulations, standards, and best practices Working Conditions This is a flexible remote work arrangement with an occasional on-site visit to a client location if geography allows.
The work environment is primarily home office based. Regular business hours or approved flex hours are expected. Compensation and Benefits The target pay rate for this position is $45
  • $55 per hour with an optional stipend for third-party benefits
