What your future day will look like: Perform audit fieldwork for financial statement audits (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) Test internal controls and evaluate risk areas Conduct substantive testing of account balances and transactions Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation Analyze financial statements and identify variances or anomalies Reconcile accounts and evaluate accounting treatments Ensure client financials comply with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ) and auditing standards
