We're seeking an Assurance Manager to join our growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced public accounting professional who enjoys leading client engagements, mentoring teams, and serving as a trusted advisor to middle-market businesses across a variety of industries. As an Assurance Manager, you'll play a key role in managing audits, reviews, and compilations while partnering closely with clients and helping develop the next generation of assurance professionals. You'll join a collaborative, close-knit team that's expanding in the marketplace and creating significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement. This role is ideally based in Portland, Oregon, with a hybrid work schedule, though we're open to exceptional candidates throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle, who can support occasional in-person team and client needs.
What You'll Do:
Lead multiple audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion. Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as a trusted point of contact throughout engagements. Review workpapers, financial statements, and engagement deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance. Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and timely feedback to seniors and staff. Collaborate with partners, directors, and engagement teams to deliver exceptional client service. Supervise engagement teams of varying sizes across a diverse client portfolio. Help develop talent through mentorship, training, and ongoing professional development. Support business growth by fostering strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand services.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on assurance, audit, and attest services. Experience managing engagements and serving as the primary contact for clients. Strong background reviewing audit workpapers, financial statements, and engagement deliverables. Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff. Experience serving clients in one or more of the following industries: Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills. Ability to balance multiple engagements while delivering exceptional client service. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA preferred, but not required. Candidates with strong assurance experience and leadership capabilities are encouraged to apply The salary range for this opportunity is stated above.
