Job Summary Under direct supervision, responsible for conducting or assisting in the conduct and documentation of simple to moderate audit projects. Provides support to audit staff with data entry. Monitors OnBase work queues, incoming mail, and other correspondence to ensure is directed to the appropriate area for processing. Assist with monitoring payer web portals as needed. Performs data entry of incoming requests for records, overpayments, and audits. Ensures timely entry of requests. Responsibilities• Coordinates intake and distribution of audits and audit notifications for all of Revenue Cycle. Triage and prioritizes ADRs and audit notifications received via mail and fax, reviews and distributes correspondence received via lockbox; escalate as appropriate. Navigates and monitors third party payor web portals, mail, fax and lockbox to obtain audit notifications and outcomes, and follows up when outcomes or expected correspondence has not been received in a timely manner, or where there are concerns or issues with audits. Monitors and maintains Audit Module email inbox, including receipt of audit and outcome notifications and distribution of correspondence to Michigan Medicine audit follow up staff as appropriate. Triage, track and report out new audits and requests for records to appropriate stakeholders, including identifying appropriate responsible parties depending on the issues raised by the auditor. Communicates directly with third party payors and third party auditors as necessary to support Michigan Medicine staff in timely and appropriate completion of all audits.
