Job Description
Senior Audit Manager Senior Audit Manager Join an established, highly respected public accounting firm in the Greater Philadelphia area where a $150,000-$200,000 base salary, direct profit-sharing, up to 4 days remote per week, and a defined path toward equity partnership await an experienced audit leader. What you'll do Drive practice-level audit strategy, methodology, and quality control across the assurance practice in partnership with firm Partners. Own client relationships at the C-suite, board, and audit committee level, serving as the primary strategic advisor on complex accounting and business-risk matters. Oversee financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations, ensuring rigorous compliance with US GAAP, GAAS, and applicable regulatory frameworks. Manage resource allocation and engagement-level profitability across multiple concurrent audit engagements. Lead, mentor, and evaluate managers, supervisors, and staff auditors while designing internal technical training programs. Represent the firm in proposal preparations, prospect presentations, and regional business development initiatives. What you need 8+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience, including at least 2-3 years managing multiple complex engagements at the Manager level. Active CPA license. Deep technical command of US GAAP, GAAS, and internal control frameworks. Proven ability to build, retain, and manage executive-level client relationships. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored for partner and C-suite audiences. Nice to have Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience with advanced audit automation software (e.g., CaseWare, CaseView, IDEA). Niche industry expertise in manufacturing, non-profit, real estate, or private-equity-backed businesses. Background leading firm-wide practice development initiatives. Pay & benefits Base salary: $150,000-$200,000 per year depending on experience, plus bonus potential.
