Phoenix, AZ Hybrid TYPE Direct Hire ID AZ102-2736939 POSTED May 8, 2026 Our client, located in north central Phoenix and one of Arizona's largest, locally owned CPA and business advisory firms, is looking for a stellar Senior Audit Manager to join their team. This position will manage clients and staff and will work within several niches including Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Individual/Estate/Gift. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and base salary up to $140,000 DOE. We are looking for an audit manager which entails the following responsibilities: Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilations Prepare financial statements with full disclosures Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements Supervise other accountants (of varying levels of proficiency and experience) Review work performed by other accountants Develop new client relationships, and strengthen existing relationships Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients Assist in firm administrative functions as needed Candidates should meet the following criteria: Bachelor's Degre in Accounting Minimum 5+ years public accounting experience Active CPA Self-motivated Work well in a team environment Excellent communication skills Strong analytical skills Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns A high understanding of GAAP and special purpose frameworks A high understanding of GAAS At least a limited understanding of GAGAS / Yellow Book Experience in financial statement compilation - both with and without notes Experience with financial statement audits and reviews
