Job Description:

Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for a Senior Auditor. This client is looking for someone with 3+ years of related experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position is hybrid with travel expectations. The salary range for this position is $83k-$125k. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and execute internal audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting. Evaluate operational, financial, and compliance processes to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities, developing practical recommendations for management. Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that inform audit findings and risk assessments. Prepare and present clear, concise audit reports and communicate results to management and key stakeholders. Provide supervision, guidance, and coaching to less experienced auditors, fostering skill development and professional growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement. Support departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing audit methodology, technology, and operational effectiveness. Participate in ongoing professional development, maintaining required continuing education and certifications. The Senior Auditor will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. 3+ years of related experience. Preferred CPA or CIA certification. Experience building new capabilities for data analytics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent detail and organizational skills.
