Job Description

Audit Senior Our client, a well-established full-service CPA firm in Warwick, RI, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to conduct high-quality audits and contribute to their dynamic team.
Location:
Warwick, RI (On-site with flexible hours)
Employment Type:
Full-time Salary Range:
$100,000 - $130,000 (Based on experience) Competitive (based on experience)
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and auditing Single audit experience (Uniform Guidance/OMB compliance) Strong technical skills in audit execution and financial statement preparation Proficiency with audit software, financial management systems, and accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks)
Highly Preferred:
Active CPA license Non-profit and/or municipal audit experience Background in a public accounting firm environment Familiarity with grant compliance and regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and complete financial audits for small businesses, non-profits, and municipal clients Perform single audits in accordance with the Uniform Guidance Ensure compliance with GAAS, Government Auditing Standards, and applicable regulatory requirements Prepare financial statements, audit workpapers, and supporting documentation with accuracy and attention to detail Identify and communicate audit findings, recommendations, and areas for client improvement Assist in supervising and mentoring staff auditors Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients as a trusted point of contact Collaborate with managers and partners to deliver timely, high-quality audit engagements What We Offer Competitive Compensation based on experience Flexible Work Hours to support work-life balance
