Audit Intern

This full-time internship will run from May 24 through July 31, 2027, and will be based at SERVPRO Corporate Headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee. The position pays $20.00 per hour. Please note that housing, relocation assistance, and other accommodations are not provided by the Company.

Job Summary

The Audit Intern role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day functions and responsibilities of the Audit Department. Through hands-on experience with the Audit team, the Intern will gain insight into key business drivers, industry trends, and franchise operations. The Franchise Audit Intern will develop a strong foundation in royalty reporting and the franchise audit process while actively supporting audit activities. Working closely with experienced Franchise Auditors, the intern will receive mentorship and guidance from team members who are committed to their professional growth and development.

You will

Participate in weekly intern activies as scheduled and assigned.

Attend team meetings and department events.

Shadow experienced employees to learn business operations.

Assist with department projects and initiatives.

Perform preliminary review of audit materials submitted by Franchise owners.

Review audit documentation submitted for audit review.

Prepare preliminary summaries of audit findings for audit staff.

Support process improvement initiatives.

Participate in special projects assigned by supervisors.

You have

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

A proactive and creative mindset, with a willingness to learn and contribute new ideas.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Must be be a current Junior or Senior enrolled in college, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business related field.
