QC/Auditor Location:
GARLAND, TX 75041
Pay Rate:
$18.00/hr 3rd shift Sunday•
Thursday Hours:
11:00 PM•7:15
AM Description:
Job Summary As a Quality Auditor (referred to internally as a Quality Resource), you will ensure that manufactured products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. This manufacturing support role focuses heavily on the validation and acceptance of products and processes, inspecting the final product for compliance with legal standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities Inspection & Auditing:
Perform standard inspection tasks, including dock audits and product containment procedures as required.
Data Recording:
Accurately record all inspection results on the applicable lot sheets or directly into the computer database.
Product Testing:
Conduct various dimensional product checks, alongside both destructive and nondestructive product testing.
Defect Management:
Promptly initiate a Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) upon discovering any potentially non-conforming products or manufacturing processes.
Job Launch Support:
Participate actively in job start-up approval activities on the production floor.
Customer Advocacy:
Represent the direct needs and quality expectations of the customer to the production associates.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred (or at least 3 months of related quality training/experience).
Technical Math:
Excellent math abilities and a working knowledge of data analysis or basic statistical methods.
Communication:
Ability to effectively communicate quality standards and non-conformance issues with all levels of factory associates.
Traits:
Thorough, highly observant, and possessing a keen eye for physical and dimensional detail.
