Summary:
Our client is a fast growing Fortune 500 company. This key position leads operational audits across the company's industrial plants focusing on safety, environmental compliance and operational performance. Partners closely with plant and corporate leadership to assess risk, evaluate controls, and drive process improvements while utilizing data analytics and technology-based audit techniques. Key Responsibilities Serve as Auditor-in-Charge on complex audit and advisory projects focusing on operational audits across US plants Evaluate controls related to safety, environmental compliance, maintenance, reliability, and operations Perform risk assessments, testing, data analysis, walkdowns, and inspections Prepare audit reports and present findings/recommendations to management Partner with Operations and EHS teams on remediation and risk mitigation Utilize plant systems/data (SAP, Maximo, monitoring systems, incident logs) to identify trends and control gaps Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business, or related field 3 years + relevant experience in audit, industrial operations, EHS compliance, or reliability engineering is preferred. Understanding of industrial ops, plant systems, applicable safety & environmental regulations, maintenance & reliability practices. Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills Ability to travel 10-20% Comfortable working in plant environments and complying with PPE/safety requirements
