In this vital role, you will ensure the accuracy, safety, and compliance of cargo loads throughout the warehouse and distribution process. Your expertise will help optimize shipping logistics, maintain trade compliance, and uphold high standards of order fulfillment. Duties Conduct thorough audits of cargo loads using RF scanners, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment to verify accuracy against shipping documents. Ensure proper stocking, picking & packing, and order picking procedures are followed according to company standards. Verify compliance with international trade regulations and trade policies during the loading and unloading processes. Collaborate with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 to update inventory records accurately. Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies, documenting findings and coordinating corrective actions as needed. Oversee the proper use of packaging materials and ensure that orders are prepared efficiently for dispatch. Assist in load & unload operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all handling activities. Support shipping & receiving activities by managing order fulfillment tasks with precision and speed. Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, weight calculations, and measurement verifications. Maintain detailed records of all load audits, inspections, and compliance checks for accountability and reporting purposes. Experience Prior experience working in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with warehouse distribution processes, including order picking, packing, shipping logistics, and inventory stocking. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and RF scanners. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards related to freight handling. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for conducting accurate load audits and documentation. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations relevant to logistics operations. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments involving e-commerce fulfillment or large-scale distribution centers.
