Position Summary The Manager General Auditing leads teams of audit professionals in performing audits over business processes, risks and internal controls (including control design, effectiveness and efficiency) in accordance with The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). Additional responsibilities include scheduling, planning, monitoring fieldwork progress and communicating status and results to Audit Services leadership (Director and Vice President). The Manager General Auditing acts as a main contact for audit projects encompassing all CPS Energy business units (financial, operational and compliance) and can often involve coordinating information with other audit team leadership (co-sourced audit firm and Information Systems Auditor) for staffing, fieldwork, reporting, etc.

18Deadline to apply: 5/22/2026Tasks and Responsibilities Conduct planning, fieldwork supervision, review and reporting of audit engagements in accordance with CPS Energy's Audit Services methodology. Supervise the work of staff auditors as they plan, perform and report on audit projects for CPS Energy. Includes the activity of managing multiple audits at the same time across different phases. Assist in developing the annual audit plan by contributing knowledge gained throughout audit projects in order to link strategic company initiatives to key audit objectives, risks and mitigating controls. Mentor and develop audit staff in improving audit skills and techniques. Develops and guides staff on audit work programs for Design tests, effectiveness testing as well as other consultative work performed by Auditors. Participate in continuing professional education to develop leading edge knowledge and audit methodology. Perform periodic follow up procedures on previously issued management action plans. Maintain and enhance relationships with audit clients and stakeholders. Performs primary or secondary reviews of all work projects and programs to establish and maintain level of quality and standards. Assist in coordinating requests for information and performing some direct assistance to external financial auditors. Collaborates and communicates with multiple levels of the organization on identified risks, internal controls, audit findings, and closure meetings. Additionally, mentors the staff in being able to facilitate same skill. Assist in the preparation of quarterly updates to the CPS Energy Audit & Finance Committee. Required Certifications Working Environment Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi- functioning printer and calculator.

Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events. After hours work may be required.

Physical Demands Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
