401(k) Competitive salary Health insurance Paid time off Training & development Vision insurance Wellness resources Pattillo, Brown & Hill, LLP is seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our Assurance team as an Audit Administrator. This role plays an important part in supporting the firm's audit professionals by helping maintain accurate documentation, organized records, and efficient workflows throughout the audit process. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Training and ongoing guidance will be provided to help develop skills and ensure long-term success in the role. This position works closely with partners, managers, supervisors, and fellow administrative team members in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Location:
Waco, Texas In office (no remote or hybrid option) Audit Administrator responsibilities
Formatting and Report Preparation:
Format financial statements, reports, and related documents using Excel and Word to ensure consistency with firm standards (including layout, columns, fonts, margins, and pagination). Generate and maintain PDF versions of reports as working drafts, incorporating ongoing revisions until finalized for client delivery.
Document Management:
Organize and maintain audit-related documents, both physical and electronic. Ensure proper filing, version control, and accessibility for the audit team.
Communication:
Assist auditors in communicating with clients, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Prepare and proofread emails, letters, and other written communications.
Quality Control:
Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to firm standards. Identify and correct any errors or discrepancies.
Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality.
Technology Proficiency:
Familiarize yourself with audit software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools. Troubleshoot minor technical issues independently.
Collaboration:
Work closely with partners, managers, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks. Facility Coordination responsibilities This role will coordinate day-to-day office and facility needs, helping ensure the workspace remains organized, functional, and appropriately stocked. Responsibilities include monitoring common office and kitchen supplies, coordinating replenishment, and maintaining awareness of the building and grounds. The Audit Administrator will serve as a point of contact with the main office's Administrative Coordinator for supply requests, vendor coordination, and maintenance needs.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework in business administration, accounting, or related fields is a plus, but not required.
Experience:
Prior experience in administrative roles, data entry, or office management preferred. Familiarity with accounting terminology is advantageous, but not required.
Skills:
Excellent typing speed and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Effectively manage multiple concurrent deadlines by regularly assessing priorities, adjusting workflows, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Teamwork Environment Collaboration:
You'll collaborate closely with your fellow audit administrators. Regular team communications will provide opportunities to discuss ongoing projects, share insights, and address any challenges. The goal is to foster a supportive and cooperative atmosphere.

While you'll have input from superiors, you'll generally manage your tasks independently within your team. This includes organizing your workload, prioritizing assignments, and ensuring timely completion. Reporting Structure For Audit Administrator duties, this position reports to a Senior Audit Administrator, partners, managers, and supervisors.
