_________________________________________________________________________ Position Summary Carries out examination strategies assigned to bring quality finished product to customer compliance.

Responsibilities:

Become proficient in performing the Inspection/Examining process according to the Standard Operating Procedures Able to discern color variations, defect conformance, piece counts, and other miscellaneous print defects from conforming production Operate associated testing equipment to test product for compliance to customer specification per test procedures, record results Complete all documentation as required and maintain clear, concise records Examine "HOLD" inventory for defects (minor, major, critical) Report findings (both defect and occurrence rate) to Lead Person or others Other duties as assigned, which may include: Job separating Flat packing

Relabeling Housekeeping Skills & Abilities:

Perform responsibilities/assignments with limited supervision in a team environment or independently Ability to navigate company software for informational research Knowledge of test equipment and test process (such as Static and Kinetic Coefficient of Friction, Score Bend Test, Sutherland Rub Test and Opening Force) Manifest basic math skills to the level needed for process (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Strong attention to detail Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate, both written and verbally to team members and/or management Flexible schedule to work Overtime as required, including some weekends Positive and amicable demeanor, able to work under tight deadlines and with various personalities

Experience:

High School Diploma, GED and relevant quality related job experience

Equipment:

Operate pallet jack, weigh scales

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly Bending, standing, stooping, walking for at least 8+ hours/day on concrete Use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms frequently Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to focus frequently
