Competitive Pay & Benefits! Job Description Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Assurance/Audit professional to join their growing public accounting team in the Kirkland office. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in public accounting and assurance services who enjoys working with privately held businesses and building long-term client relationships. The firm is open to hiring candidates at the Senior Associate, Manager, or Senior Manager level, depending on experience and leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities Plan, perform, and review assurance and audit engagements for privately held businesses. Work directly with clients to understand their business operations and provide high-quality audit and assurance services. Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards. Mentor and support junior team members while collaborating with firm leadership. Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service and communication. Manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and quality expectations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 5+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on assurance and audit services. Experience serving for-profit, closely held small to midsize businesses . Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting. Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills. Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications CPA license or progress toward obtaining a CPA is preferred. Leadership or team management experience. Experience managing client engagements from planning through completion. Industry Experience Privately held commercial businesses. Small to midsize for-profit companies.
