Quality Management Systems Auditor, Training & Compliance Coordinator Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Quality Management Systems Auditor, Training & Compliance Coordinator to support and continually improve our Quality Management System and Maintenance Organization Quality Management System. This position will be responsible for internal auditing, employee training coordination, compliance investigations, corrective action management, and quality-system oversight. The position will work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Purchasing, Inspection, Records, Human Resources, and management to ensure company processes meet applicable AS9100, AS9110, FAA, customer, contractual, and internal requirements . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, professional, and comfortable working independently while maintaining objectivity and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Plan, conduct, document, and close internal audits in accordance with AS9100, AS9110, company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable FAA regulations. Identify nonconformities, compliance risks, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement, and ensure findings are properly documented and followed through to effective corrective action. Coordinate and administer the company's employee training program, including initial, recurrent, remedial, regulatory, and position-specific training. Maintain training records, audit records, corrective-action documentation, and other objective evidence required to demonstrate compliance. Conduct impartial investigations into quality concerns, procedural deviations, nonconformities, documentation issues, customer concerns, and other compliance-related events. Facilitate root-cause analysis and corrective action, including verification of implementation and effectiveness. Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, work instructions, forms, and controlled documents. Support FAA inspections, customer audits, certification audits, surveillance audits, and other regulatory or external reviews. Assist with supplier quality, purchasing, receiving inspection, traceability, and external-provider oversight. Review and recommend improvements to procedures, forms, training materials, and processes when changes are needed to maintain compliance or improve effectiveness. Provide professional guidance and coaching to employees and managers regarding quality-system and procedural requirements. Monitor trends in audits, investigations, training deficiencies, and corrective actions and provide management with recommendations for improvement. Required Qualifications Working knowledge of AS9100 and/or AS9110 quality management systems, or the ability to obtain the required training/certification. Experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, maintenance, repair station, or another regulated environment. Understanding of internal auditing principles and objective-evidence requirements. Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective actions, or quality investigations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities. Ability to analyze information, conduct professional interviews, and make objective conclusions based on documented evidence. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment. Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within an AS9100 and/or AS9110 certified organization . Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor training. Experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station or aviation maintenance environment. Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation maintenance documentation. Experience with corrective action systems, supplier quality, document control, configuration management, or records management. Experience supporting third-party certification, customer, or regulatory audits. Experience developing or administering employee training programs.
