Audit Manager Job Title:
Audit Manager Location Onsite | Hybrid, 3 days in office required, Milwaukee, WI 53202,
USA Position Overview:
As an Audit Manager, you will utilize your technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee the completion of on-budget financial statement audits. You will enhance each audit by applying your knowledge of clients operations, processes, business objectives, and risks. This role requires building strong relationships with clients and engagement teams, ensuring effective communication, and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support multiple engagement teams concurrently to complete financial statement audits. Communicate consistently with clients regarding engagement and service expectations; resolve technical and service issues promptly. Train and supervise less experienced colleagues, providing regular feedback to foster their development. Act as a proactive problem solver and trusted business adviser to clients on various business improvement areas. Collaborate with company colleagues on proposals and business development activities. Work at client sites, in the office, or remotely, with flexibility to meet team and client needs. Represent the company at recruiting and professional networking events. Enhance your technical and professional skills through formal training and development programs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or related disciplines. Minimum of five years of progressive public accounting experience with a mid-sized to large firm. Active CPA license (required). Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards. minimum of 1 year at the Manager level
