Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our automotive repair team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters, accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing comprehensive repair estimates. Your expertise will help streamline the repair process, ensure customer satisfaction, and maximize shop efficiency. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to evaluate the extent of repairs needed. Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software and manual calculations Collaborate closely with technicians to understand repair procedures and timelines for services such as auto service management and automotive diagnostics Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair options, costs, and timelines while providing excellent customer service throughout the process Liaise with insurance companies to facilitate claim approvals and ensure smooth workflow Maintain organized records of all estimates, repair orders, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and accountability Experience Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures including mechanic experience and automotive diagnostics Familiarity with auto estimating software, service writing, and automotive service processes Customer service skills combined with sales experience to effectively upsell services and automobile sales when appropriate Mechanical knowledge that supports accurate damage assessment and repair planning Previous experience handling cash transactions or working in a fast-paced automotive environment is a plus Join us in delivering top-tier automotive repairs while providing outstanding customer experiences!
