Job Description

Collision Estimator About us We are a family owned and operated collision repair shop focused on safe, OEM-correct repairs and honest communication with every customer. We're looking for an experienced estimator to join our front office team. About the role You'll be the link between our customers, the insurance companies, and our production floor. CCC ONE is our primary system, so you'll work in it every day, and you'll write in Mitchell whenever a carrier or account requires it. We need someone who can switch between both systems easily and who takes pride in a clean, well-documented file. What you'll do Inspect damaged vehicles, take thorough photos, and write accurate, complete estimates in CCC ONE and Mitchell, flagging potential total losses early. Blueprint repairs with our technicians during teardown, then write and submit supplements quickly so jobs don't sit waiting on approvals. Research OEM repair procedures and position statements, and make sure required pre- and post-repair scans and ADAS calibrations are on the estimate. Work with insurance adjusters and appraisers to review estimates, negotiate supplements, and get approvals. Keep customers updated from drop-off to delivery, explain the repair process in plain language, and handle final paperwork and payment. Follow insurance and fleet program guidelines, and help keep cycle times and file accuracy on target. What we're looking for [2+] years of experience writing collision estimates in a body shop. Hands-on experience in both CCC ONE and Mitchell. You should be able to write and supplement a file in either system on day one. Strong knowledge of P-pages, not-included operations, and the DEG, with the ability to back up every line you write. Familiarity with OEM repair information (OEM1Stop, ALLDATA, or similar) and ADAS scan and calibration requirements. Clear communication and solid negotiation skills, plus the organization to manage multiple files at once. I-CAR training is preferred (Platinum Estimator is a plus), and ASE B6 Damage Analysis & Estimating certification is a bonus. Experience writing estimates for fleet accounts, such as commercial or delivery vans, is a strong plus. A valid driver's license is required.
