Job Description

Join Our Family-Owned Shop as an Estimator (CCC Experience Required) We are seeking a seasoned Estimator to become part of our family-run collision repair facility. This position requires hands-on involvement with customer vehicle intake and delivery, active use of the ccc operating system , and the flexibility to open and close the shop as needed. Because we operate a small, tightly coordinated shop, dependable attendance and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities are essential. What you'll do: Open and close the shop reliably, following all shop checklists and safety procedures. Welcome customers, perform thorough vehicle check-ins, and document pre-repair conditions. Prepare and finalize estimates using the CCC (ccc) operating system, ensuring accuracy and clarity for both customers and insurance representatives. Assign and dispatch work orders to technicians, track progress, and adjust schedules to meet deadlines. Order parts promptly, handle returns correctly, and reconcile parts inventories. Inspect vehicles before and after repairs to guarantee quality workmanship and proper documentation. Keep customers informed during the repair process, answer questions, and perform vehicle deliveries with a professional, customer-first approach.
Key Qualifications:
Previous estimator experience at a collision repair or automotive shop; proven history with the ccc operating system is required. Strong verbal communication and customer service skills; you should enjoy face-to-face interactions and be comfortable resolving customer questions on-site. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work in a small-team environment. Commitment to punctuality and dependable attendance—critical for a shop of this size.
