Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Body Appraiser to join our team. In this vital role, you will evaluate vehicle damage, determine repair costs, and provide accurate estimates to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient workflow. Your expertise in auto body repair, automotive repair, and auto estimating will drive the success of our collision repair operations. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess extent of auto body and structural repairs needed Develop precise auto estimates using advanced auto estimating software and industry standards Collaborate with insurance adjusters, customers, and technicians to negotiate repair scopes and costs effectively Review repair plans for compliance with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and quality expectations Assist in prioritizing repairs and managing workflow to meet project timelines efficiently Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, estimates, and communication logs for transparency and accountability Ordering of parts, answering phone calls Experience Proven experience in auto body repair, automotive repair, or related fields with a strong understanding of auto restoration processes Demonstrated skill in auto estimating software and service writing systems Knowledge of auto service management practices and underwriting procedures is highly desirable Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with clients and insurance representatives Mechanical aptitude combined with analysis skills to evaluate vehicle damage accurately Familiarity with auto service industry standards, auto estimating techniques, and automotive service procedures Prior experience in auto service management or related supervisory roles is a plus Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to excellence! $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
