  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking to add a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Auto Body Collision Estimator.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards. The role requires a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostic, along with excellent communication skills to interact with customer and technicians effectively.
Duties:
Inspect vehicles and complete a detailed blueprint for fixing the vehicle Effectively communicate to customers what is to be done to their vehicle to properly repair it Update customers on a regular basis Ensure customer files in CCC are up to date, completed and ready to close when the car is delivered Effectively negotiate with insurance companies Review files before deliver and ensure all payments have been made from insurance company Review all initial and supplemental estimates that insurance adjusters write before they leave Partner with Shop Manager to ensure open communication from office to shop Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage several jobs at once
Experience:
At least 3 years experience with DRP's Knowledgeable of CCC computer estimating software and packages I-CAR and ASE A positive and personable attitude with people
