Job Description

No dealership experience? No problem. Jackson Mac Haik Ford is hiring a Vehicle Acquisitions Specialist. This a base salary plus commission role where we train you to source, appraise, and buy the vehicles that keep our inventory moving. If you're competitive, great with people, and motivated by real earning potential, we want to talk to you. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes variety, enjoys working with customers, and wants to build a career in the automotive industry. We'll teach you everything you need to know about valuing vehicles - you bring the drive and the people skills. What You'll Do Appraise vehicles and present fair, confident purchase offers to walk-in customers looking to sell Evaluate trade-ins and service-lane vehicles in coordination with our service department Use market trends, condition, and resale value to price vehicles that meet our quality and profit standards Negotiate purchases and close deals while delivering a first-class customer experience Keep accurate records of every transaction and vehicle detail What We're Looking For No previous dealership experience required - we provide full on-the-job training (the appraisal skills are exactly what we'll teach you) Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills A self-starter who can work independently and hit goals Comfortable working outdoors year-round, since vehicle inspections happen on the lot Comfortable with computers and inventory systems Valid driver's license required Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission/bonus opportunities Paid time off 401k with company match Health, dental, vision, and much more!
