Job Description
Essential Functions Prepare damage estimates and/or appraisals on automobiles within assigned territory and issue payment as required. Reinspect damaged vehicles for appropriate repairs and process supplements to a conclusion. Travel to various counties in the state for the purpose of estimating and/or appraising damage to automobiles as requested. Assist in setting up and operating a drive-in claims service when needed following a catastrophe situation both in and outside of the state. Assist in the training of the field adjusters in areas of physical damage. Decide time and labor for auto repair. Decide if parts repairable or if must be replaced. Decide if vehicles repairable or are a total loss.
