Job Description
Tilton Body Works is seeking an experienced and motivated Body Shop Estimator to join our growing team. We are a busy collision repair facility specializing in automotive, commercial vehicle, and RV repairs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in writing accurate repair estimates while maintaining strong communication with customers, insurance companies, and technicians. Responsibilities Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates using CCC ONE or Mitchell. Identify all visible and potential damage to ensure complete and accurate repair plans. Communicate with customers regarding repair processes, timelines, and expectations. Work directly with insurance companies, adjusters, and DRP partners. Manage supplements and negotiate repair procedures when necessary. Coordinate with technicians, parts departments, and management to ensure efficient workflow. Monitor repair progress and update customers throughout the repair process. Review repair orders for accuracy and profitability. Assist in maintaining high customer satisfaction and quality standards. Qualifications Previous collision repair estimating experience preferred. Experience with CCC ONE and Mitchell estimating software. Strong understanding of vehicle construction, repair procedures, and collision repair processes. Knowledge of insurance claim procedures. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Experience I-CAR training or certifications. DRP experience. Experience estimating , having heavy duty and RV estimating knowledge is not necessary but a plus.
