Position Overview We are seeking an experienced RV & Heavy Truck Estimator / Service Advisor to join our growing service operation. This hybrid role blends technical estimating expertise with frontline service advising and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate understands both commercial truck and RV collision repair environments , can confidently build accurate repair estimates, and is comfortable working with municipal and commercial fleet accounts. This position plays a critical role in driving shop efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Inspect heavy trucks, RVs, and fleet vehicles to determine repair scope and required parts/labor. Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates for mechanical, structural, and related service work. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process. Communicate clearly with municipal, commercial, and fleet account representatives. Coordinate with technicians, parts department, and management to ensure proper repair planning. Obtain approvals and manage repair authorizations. Monitor job progress, update customers, and ensure on-time delivery. Maintain estimating software, labor guides, and pricing accuracy. Qualifications Previous experience in heavy truck, RV, fleet, or commercial equipment estimating required. Service advising experience strongly preferred. Experience working with municipal and commercial fleet accounts highly desirable. Ability to interpret repair procedures, labor guides, and technical documentation. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple repair orders simultaneously.
