Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Appliance Manager to lead our appliance service division. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing and developing a team of technicians, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving departmental performance and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, operational expertise, and a passion for building high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the appliance repair department to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Lead, coach, and supervise appliance technicians, providing training, performance feedback, and professional development. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency. Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and resource allocation to maximize productivity. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or high-priority service issues. Build strong relationships with customers and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations. Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sales, and marketing teams to support seamless service delivery. Manage parts inventory and ensure technicians have the tools and materials needed to complete repairs effectively. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new technicians. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), customer feedback, and operational metrics. Review financial performance, including profit and loss, sales trends, and inventory costs, to support data-driven decisions and improve profitability. Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in appliance repair. Preferred Qualifications Previous management or leadership experience in appliance repair or the home services industry. Technical certification or formal training in appliance repair; refrigeration and sealed systems experience preferred. Experience with budgeting and financial management. Clean driving record. Working knowledge of major appliance brands including GE, Samsung, Whirlpool, Kenmore, LG, Maytag, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Amana, and Sub-Zero.
