Position Summary The Branch Manager I position administers management for a full service, profitable branch for First Farmers Bank & Trust. Supervising branch retail staff and providing input on different committees as needed throughout the year is required. This position must assist customers in providing detailed knowledge of bank products and services, articulate the benefits and conditions of these services and cross sell products to new and current clients as needed.Leadership and Management:
Supervise, lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to achieve performance goals and provide exceptional customer service Lead weekly huddles and monthly meetings with your staff to discuss sales opportunities, goals, and operational issuesCustomer Service:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a customer-centric culture Expand and retain bank customer relationships and solicit new relationships from prospective customersFinancial Management:
Oversee branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management Ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness Ensure the branch consistently meets its financial targets Develop and implement strategies to help grow depositsCompliance and Risk Management:
Ensure branch operations comply with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures Manage risk effectively and ensure the security of branch assetsOperational Efficiency:
Streamline branch operations to improve efficiency and productivity Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives Review and provide reports to managementCommunity Engagement:
Represent the bank as a dedicated community partner by building strong relationships with key stakeholders and actively participating in local events and activities Present financial literacy programs to educate clients and the broader community on effective financial management, fostering a sense of financial empowerment and community well-being Participate in any sales activities as directed by theRegional Branch Manager Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including treasury management, mortgage officers, commercial lenders and marketing teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve business objectivesMarket Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats Provide insights and recommendations to senior managementFinancial Analysis:
