Then you should apply for a position with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA), where we continue to make "Kentucky Proud"! We are looking for a Administrative Branch Manager in our, Office of State Veterinarian, Division of Animal Health Programs, Programs Branch. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Supervise daily function of Records Branch personnel. Oversee programs and licensing administered by Office including Animal Disease Traceability, Brucellosis, Poultry, and Stockyards. Audit programs to ensure proper implementation and compliance with statutes and regulations. Oversee scheduling of program outreach, education, and field support activities. Assist with development and administration of activities as required by State Animal Health Officials. Oversee and ensure accurate entry of all required data into applicable databases. Organize data entry and filing requirements with administrative support personnel. Develop and conduct data trace and search activities. Maintain United States Department of Agriculture e-authorization database, which gives access to databases used within the programs administered by the Office of State Veterinarian. Oversee administration and updates to United States of America Herds database as required by office and program development. Prepare periodic reports of activities such as outreach activities, compliance data, disease statistic data, and licenser status. Develop, oversee, and submit periodic reports of Records Branch operating budget to the Office of State Veterinarian's Executive Staff. EDUCATION
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
