Our client, an established credit union in the Springield, MA area, is seeking an entrepreneurial Branch Manager who is ready to take ownership of branch performance, lead by example, and help grow member relationships and branch success. What You'll Do Lead the day to day operations of the branch and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. Drive branch growth through member engagement, relationship building, and promotion of credit union products and services. Supervise, coach, train, and develop branch employees to ensure excellent service and operational efficiency. Manage branch staffing, scheduling, workflow, and employee performance. Serve as a loan originator and process and approve loans within established authority limits. Assist with member service activities and support employees during peak periods. Ensure members receive prompt, professional, and courteous service. Resolve member concerns and complaints in a timely manner. Oversee branch cash controls, balancing activities, and deposit processing. Monitor branch security procedures and ensure compliance with established standards. Conduct regular staff meetings and support ongoing training and development. Track branch performance and prepare reports and recommendations for management. Manage branch expenses and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency. Coordinate branch operations with lending, accounting, and other credit union departments. Maintain branch facilities, equipment, safety standards, and supply levels. Complete special projects and perform branch duties as needed. What You'll Bring High school diploma. Five years of banking experience. A strong desire to grow the branch and your career Comprehensive knowledge of banking/credit union products and services. Understanding of branch operations, policies, and procedures. Familiarity with IRA services. General knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent member service and relationship management skills. This is an on-site role in Wilbraham, MA. The salary range is $75,000 - $85,000. In addition, leadership is open to adding incentives tied to branch growth.
