Job Description

Position Summary:
The Branch Manager will be responsible for the profitable and efficient operation of the assigned branch; will work to ensure the maximization of customer relationships based on customer need and in alignment with the bank's mission and vision statements; will promote the professional development of staff members, as well as themselves, to accomplish personal career goals and meet bank objectives; and will ensure that all bank and regulatory policies and procedures are followed.
Essential Functions:
Profitability/Business Development:
Achieves expected branch goals through effective management of the branch while focusing on revenue generation. Will align branch activities and community involvement to support the bank's mission statement. Will acquire new profitable relationships and grow existing customer relationships both individually and the branch as a whole. Will maintain the quality of the loan portfolio by ensuring that charge-offs, past dues, and collection efforts fall within bank guidelines both individually and the branch as a whole. Will develop, maintain, and execute the branch business plan.
Customer Service:
Will develop, implement, and maintain high customer service standards for the branch. Will enhance the branch customer service experience by implementing activities that are consistent with the characteristics of the market. Will identify and maintain a continuing professional relationship with the bank's high-value customers.
Staff & Personal Development:
Will recruit, select, and retain high quality employees. Will coach and develop staff members, including assistance with career planning and professional development. Will effectively communicate branch and bank objectives with staff members; includes upward and downward communication as necessary. Will be responsible for personal professional development.
Operational & Compliance:
Will insure branch personnel comply with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Will monitor and maintain the functionality and physical appearance of the assigned facilities.
Additional Responsibilities:
Will be a proactive participant in marketing, sales campaigns, business development, and relationship building efforts that relate to the assigned location or the bank as a whole. Will be responsible for full compliance with all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Will maintain a strict level of confidentiality. Special attention will be given to the rules that govern the dissemination of information. Will perform various other duties as may be assigned.

Education and Experience:
Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience/training
Preferred:
College Degree with work experience/training
