Overview of Responsibilities:
Leads and manages assigned branch for sales and operations to ensure the financial objectives, strategic goals and institutional growth are met in accordance with MSGCU's policies and state and federal government regulations, and in alignment with our desired member experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Focuses on providing high quality service to all members through a consistent approach to delivering the member experience that includes sales, services, member satisfaction, operational, and people management to build strong member (internal/external) relationships and deliver member-centric solutions Performs all duties related to member services responsibilities to exceed member service expectations and provide superior quality service in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner. § Makes good and timely decisions using sound rationale, available data, and relevant or important factors to ensure the overall effectiveness of the branch and that are in alignment with the organization's focus and direction. § Exhibits business insight by applying knowledge and demonstrating the ability to advance the organization's goals. Develops and executes tactical plans, including strategies, targets, and staffing to meet objectives. Participates in and supports Business Development efforts, activities and events, to maintain key member groups and develop new relationships. § Optimizes branch operations by serving as subject matter expert on daily functions and long-term goals and ensuring effective use of MSGCU resources. Oversees the efficiency and performance of the branch budget, security, and adherence to policies to maintain high standards of operational efficiency and performance. § Directs work for branch team by providing clear direction and ensuring work is aligned with organizational objectives and the desired member experience. Demonstrates a systematic approach to distributing assignments and monitoring work. Delegates and empowers team members to make decisions within their areas of responsibility and removes obstacles to get work done. § Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments through regular sales meetings, coaching, and observations. Utilizes the SLS (Sales Leadership Strategies) to improve performance and instills these methods across branch leadership to drive results. § Develops and implements strategies to meet strategic targets through development of an annual branch sales plan. Solicits ideas and feedback from team members to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. § Collaborates effectively with team members and other stakeholders across the organization to improve relationships, build trust, develop teamwork and deliver high quality member service. Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. § Develops talent by coaching others to build skills in order to meet both their career goals and the organization's goals through mentoring, coaching, and relevant development opportunities. Builds effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals. Engages team in sales processes and activities to achieve team and corporate goals. § Communicates effectively by developing and delivering various forms of communication (written, verbal, presentation), that are in alignment with MSGCU's philosophy, mission, and values. Facilitates discussions and actively listens to ensure a clear understanding of expectations, procedure updates, new products, and initiatives. Manages conflict situations by effectively using Crucial Conversations skills, with a minimum of noise. § Drives engagement by influencing others and by creating a healthy climate where team members are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives. § Instills trust by gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, authenticity, and modeling behaviors that align with organizational values. Makes responsible choices and exemplifies courage by stepping up to address difficult issues. § Models self-development by actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged, and exhibits self-awareness by soliciting feedback and through reflection gains productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses. Applies feedback to personal development using both formal and informal development channels. § Demonstrates situational adaptability by adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.Education and Experience Requirements:
§ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred. § 4 years of related, progressively more responsible retail banking experience; and § 2 years of leadership experience required; or § Successful completion of MSGCU's Branch Manager Trainee Program. Working Conditions Office and branch location environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors. Occasionally required to travel throughout the MSGCU's service area as business needs require. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Receives detailed instructions and security procedures on an annual basis to minimize risk. This work involves sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary begins at $72,801 / annually Team members in this role are eligible to earn incentives as part of our variable compensation plan Medical, dental and vision on your first day!
