Job Description

Job Summary Valley Banks of Ronan is seeking a motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Arlee Branch. This position is responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing staff. The Branch Manager will also support business growth through community engagement, relationship building, and achievement of lending, deposit, and financial goals. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, banking experience, and a commitment to serving the financial needs of individuals and businesses in the community. A strong lending background is essential for this position, with experience in consumer, commercial, residential real estate and agricultural lending
Compensation:

Responsibilities Lead and motivate the branch team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales objectives through proactive relationship management and upselling of banking products. Oversee daily branch operations including cash handling, debits & credits processing, and cash management to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ensure adherence to all banking regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing regulations, and anti-fraud policies by implementing proper controls and staff training. Manage loan origination, processing, underwriting, and mortgage servicing activities in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and internal policies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions to foster long-term loyalty. Supervise team management duties including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching to cultivate a high-performing branch staff. Monitor operational metrics and financial software systems to optimize branch performance while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Requirements Proven experience in banking or financial services with a focus on sales management, loan processing, or mortgage servicing. Strong knowledge of banking regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), TILA, Fair Housing laws, fraud prevention & detection protocols. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management, coaching, and conflict resolution. Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining compliance standards. Proficiency in financial software systems, cash handling procedures, basic math skills including 10 key typing and debits & credits calculations. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong understanding of mortgage underwriting processes, loan origination procedures, and financial analysis techniques.
