Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Personally greet each member as they enter the branch with an appropriate "good morning or afternoon" and thank them for coming in as they exit the branch; referring to them by name as often as possible; ask members to remove hats and sunglasses as they enter the building. Proficiently provide excellent member service to our members and potential members in both English and Spanish. Utilize workforce optimization tools (such as FMSI) to schedule and monitor daily activities of branch personnel. Assist in the hiring, training, directing, and evaluation of employee performance; recommend promotions, transfers and salary adjustments; identify performance problems and provide necessary coaching and/or disciplinary actions, up to and including terminations. Responsible for branch operating results and controls relative to established objectives. Take appropriate steps to address unsatisfactory performance. Recommend and implement changes as appropriate to improve systems, policies, and procedures and to ensure optimum efficiency. Monitor branch activities for compliance within established Credit Union policies and regulations and take action to resolve any out-of-compliance issues. Perform branch audits. Review documents prepared by branch personnel to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Explain services to potential consumer and commercial account members to generate additional business and to promote positive public relations. Assist branch staff in balancing daily transactions; examine, evaluate, process loan applications as needed and resolve account-related concerns with members. Depending on location assigned, will manage the overall operation of the teller platform. Manage branch office in absence of the Branch Manager. Complete member follow-up within the same day by email, phone or other communication. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education:
A high school education or GED.
Other Skills:
Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard. Required to fluently speak English and Spanish in a professional setting.
