Job Description

We are seeking a Branch Sales Manager for our depot located in Vineland , NJ . This is an exciting position in a customer focused atmosphere where you will have the opportunity to partner with, and coordinate activities of, Independent Distributor's sales routes engaged in selling and distributing Schmidt Baking Company products and services. We exceed customer expectations through a continuous improvement process; and building mutually beneficial business relationships at all levels of your customer's organization. We are looking for an individual that has passion for delivering 100% Customer Satisfaction by providing high quality products on a consistent, predictable service schedule. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to be self-motivated, be a goal-oriented achiever and be able to partner with independent business owner as well as company associates in achieving common objectives. Working safely and maintaining a safe workplace is a must. Become an important part of a culture focused on creating an experience and promoting life-long learning.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, assign and oversee daily routes to ensure servicing customers, hire, perform management activities
  • Demonstrate sales methods
  • Oversee loading and dispatching of trucks
  • Solicit new accounts
  • Investigate customer complaints
  • Offer feedback to route independent
Qualifications:
  • Some college preferred
  • Minimum of three years of sales experience required
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multitask within a fast-moving environment
  • Driving will be required; must possess valid driver's license
Physical Demands:
  • The work is sedentary sitting most of the time; exerting up to 10 lbs.
force frequently and 30 lbs. occasionally; negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, etc. The work requires no special physical demands. It may involve some walking, standing, bending, or carrying of light items.
Work Environment:
  • The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions. The work is performed in an office or similar setting requiring normal safety precautions against everyday risks or discomforts. Typical office or administrative work. No adverse environmental conditions.
Vision Requirements:
  • Near vision needed to read and prepare paper and computerized data and reports, and to examine and compile records.
Training Required:
  • The individual must complete all annual safety training, and any specialized and/or skill ware training this is required to perform his/her job.
