Heritage Landscape Supply is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager in the agronomic, irrigation and landscaping industry. This position is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with all elements of a branch operation.
DUTIES:
Secondary supervisor of all branch operations; sales, service; delivery, and business development strategies to ensure branch achieves desired results. Maintain our Culture and following policies and procedures as implemented by Executive Management. Maintain an efficient, clean, safe, and orderly branch operation for the benefit of employees, customers, and vendors. Stay involved with/aware of new products, changes to existing products. Comprehend, support, participate and educate all promotion and advertising initiatives as communicated. Provide execution and support of daily tasks such as order entry, answering phones, purchasing products, deliveries, end-of-day procedures, sales tax errors, pricing/profitability, etc. Focus daily activities on achieving the highest level of customer service and embrace opportunities to expand the market and/or market share. REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent Landscaping industry is preferred. Basic computer knowledge, including keyboard (typing), mouse, Internet use Forklift experience helpful Acceptable driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a repetitive basis Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful, but not required Full knowledge of managing a distributor of landscaping products is plus . Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.
